Do you want to have single name(i.e without last name) on facebook try this simple steps!!! 

           

Have you ever wondered and tried to have single Name in Facebook ID and failed? here is simple  solution for it.

This is the common error message that will appear when you try to have first name alone.

Do you know why this error message occur?  Reason behind this is, it follows British or American standard of have two names i.e first name and last name. If you don’t want two name follow these steps,

  1. Go to settings tab after logging into your fb account, identify language option

              2. By default it will be in English(UK), now change it to tamil(தமிழ்).

                 3. Now again go to settings tab and select the highlighted option கணக்கு அமைப்புகள்(Account preferences) like in the image given below.

                  4. Then click on option பொது(General) and click on your name.

  5. Then type name only in first name text box and click save changes.

  6. You will be proceeded to next step without any error messages and here you have to provide your password and click save changes(மாற்றங்களை சேமி ). 

You can see you have only single name in your profile like in this image given below but language wil be in தமிழ்.

   7. Final step again go to settings tab and click 

மொழி and then again select your language to English (UK).

Now you will be seeing your favourite fb in English as given below.
