Perfect Solution

Steps to install win 7/8/10 on our pc through USB/ DVD(CD).

1. Have a bootable USB/DVD. If you don’t know how to create bootable DVD or pendrive – ClickHere.

2. Insert your bootable CD/DVD in CD Drive or connect your bootable USB to your CPU.

3. Restart your computer.

4. Once your processor light start to blink repeatedly tap(Very Important) the key which enters into BIOS setup in your PC.Mostly key for entering to BIOS setup is DEL or ESC.

5. Once you do it you will enter into BIOS setup screen(see given below), in that screen select Advanced BIOS features.

6. In Advanced BIOS features window, select boot device priority.

7. Choose your first boot device as CD/USB (based on which bootable device you have connected).

8. After selecting it press ESC key and then F10 key.

9. System will restart and then following screens appears

10. Select the language to install, currency format, keyboard Input method and click Next.

11. Select the flavour of your OS and select whether to install 32 bit(select it when your RAM is less than 3GB) or 64 bit(select it when your RAM is greater than 3GB) and click Next.

12. Read the license agreement or as usual click check box i accept the agreement and click Next.

 

13. If you using older version and installing new version i.e if you have XP and if you are installing win 7 or if you have win7 and if you are installing win 8 or or if you have win7 and if you are installing win 8 click on upgrade. 

Note: only if you have genuine OS else click custom.

14. Disk partiton window appears.

OS can be installed in only primary partiton, select one of the primary partion.

15. If you don't want your old OS, select the primary partition in which you have installed your OS and click Driver options(advanced) and click format and then select the same partion(C: Drive) and then click next(seee above image).

All the installation steps is similair for Win 7/win 8/ win 10 but difference is system reserve space changes.

As i am installing win 7 it show 100 MB. 

System Reserve space for Windows 7 - 100 MB

                                           Windows 8 - 350 MB

                                           Windows 10 - 500 MB

16. Installation screen appears.

17. After sometime system will restart several times, and registry screen and installtion screen appears as follows,

 

18. Then a screen appears in which you have to type the name of your PC and click Next.

19. In this screen type your password for your PCand click Next.

20. In this screen if you use pirated version click ask me later or if genuine version click use recommended settings.

This is all about updating system softwares.

21. In this screen we have to specify correct time zone, As i am from pride India i have choosen GST+5:30 and then click Next.

22. Then system will prepare your desktop for first use.

23. Thus windows installtion is complete.

24. After instalation if you want to use your USB or DVD for personal activities u can just format it, formatting is not possible for DVD-R it is possible for USB or DVD -RW.
